My name is Roma Mitchell and I represent ‘Australians All’ because in 1962 I
became Australia’s first female Queen’s Counsel (QC). Then, in 1965, I was
appointed to the South Australian Supreme Court, which meant that I became the first woman
in Australia to become a judge.
