My real name is Ethel Robertson, but I published my books under the pseudonym of Henry
Handel Richardson. I represent ‘Nature’s gifts’ because I wrote one of
Australia’s great literary classics The Fortunes of Richard Mahoney, which was
published in 1930. Then, in 1932, I was nominated for the Nobel Prize for literature.
