born on 9 April 1909 at Mt Gambier in South Australia.
My name is Robert Helpmann and I represent ‘Nature’s gifts’ because I had
a great international career both as a ballet dancer and as a choreographer. When I could
no longer dance professionally I became a film and stage actor. I was also artistic
director and choreographer for the Australian Ballet.
