My name is Arthur Boyd and I represent ‘Nature’s gifts’ because I am an
Australian artist of international reputation. My most compelling series of paintings,
‘Love, Marriage and Death of a Half-caste’ reflects my distress over the state
of Indigenous Australians at Alice Springs, which I observed while travelling through
central Australia in 1951.
