IDEA FOR SCENE: Peter Allen is on stage singing, playing the piano and then dancing. With three backup singers and 20 dancers the stage is alive with colour, movement and song. The audience is clapping and singing along when Smithy, Ginger and Felix make their way up on stage and everything and everyone else stops. Peter Allen realises he is suddenly singing alone, stops, looks around, and then notices the three time travellers. They explain why they’re there, how they got there, that he has to come and help save Australia, and that time will stand still until he returns.
