My name is David Dicks and I represent ‘Girt by sea’ because, at 17 years of
age, I am the youngest person to have sailed solo non-stop around the world. On 26
February 1996, I set out from Fremantle, Western Australia, in my 10 metre sloop
‘Seaflight’ and returned 264 days later.
